This is a hardwired fixture — a qualified electrician is required for installation. Unlike open cage fixtures, the frosted glass diffuser fully encloses the bulbs and produces a soft, even, shadow-free glow — similar in effect to the glass globe, but with a much larger Ø34cm footprint and a more industrial, porthole-inspired form. The concrete-effect lacquered metal texture adds tactile depth without the weight of actual concrete. The fixture is dimmable: a compatible external LED dimmer switch is required (not supplied) — confirm compatibility with your electrician. At 2×60W max (E27), a frosted or opal LED (8–10W, 2700–3000K) is recommended for each socket; the frosted glass already diffuses the light, so a filament bulb is not necessary.
