The crushed glass construction is the defining quality of this pendant — each globe shade is handmade, which means the surface texture, light refraction, and minor dimensions vary naturally between shades and between units. This is not a defect; it is the characteristic of a handcrafted object. The crushed glass surface refracts and scatters light in multiple directions, creating a rich, layered glow rather than a single directed output — the effect is more jewel-like than a plain glass or metal shade. The three finish options — gold, copper, and chrome — each interact differently with the glass: gold and copper produce a warm, amber-tinted output; chrome produces a cooler, more neutral light. Each of the seven shades is individually height-adjustable up to 150cm and removable for bulb access. At 60W total across seven E27 sockets, each socket is limited to approximately 8.5W — use small teardrop or globe filament LED E27 bulbs at 2700K for the warmest result through the glass.
